What are Mystery Talks?

The Mystery Talks are an All Good Bookshop invention! The concept is simple:

Two speakers get 20 minutes to talk about a subject they're passionate about.
The audience only finds out what the topic is when the talks begin.
There's a Q&A after each talk.

So you comes along and you takes your chances. They've been a huge success so far, with fascinating talks and great reactions.

It's been likened to pre-internet days, when you'd flick around the channels on a rainy day and end up watching a fascinating documentary you'd never have expected to love because it was the best thing on at the time. That's the ethos. That's the spirit.
